The Piatkowski Brothers, headed up by Canastota, NY brothers Al and Rob, is a polka band consisting of musicians who possess more than one century of musical experience.  Domiciled in the Central New York and New York City Regions, we were brought together by a compelling desire to convey the style of Polish Polka music that we were raised listening to. 

While we, like many musicians, have an urge to ‘play for ourselves’, we stepped back and realized there is a greater need in the current Polka marketplace which must be met. We intend to meet it. That requirement is met by properly playing the old-time stylings of the Ampol Aires, Gene Wisniewski, The Pala Brothers, Eddie Blazonczyk, Happy Louie, Li'l Wally, Ray Henry, The Naturals, Casey Siewierski, Joe Oberaitis, Marion Lush, Marisha Data, The Casinos, Jimmy Sturr and many more

A good common sense feeling that we must play the music of our customer’s generation fuels our desire.  Hence, we have arranged a repertoire of music which brings one back to a time when dance clubs were full of dancers who required the utmost in professionalism by musicians. In fact, those performances of long ago were performed by gentlemen musicians who played for ladies and gentlemen. 

Our intent is just that: to play sweet and simple Polka music for ladies and gentlemen.
